This course provides skills in finite mathematics. Topics: set theory, symbolic logic, probability, systems of numeration, basic modular arithmetic, and the metric system. Additional supplementary basic mathematics skills topics are operations with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, ratio, proportion, and percent, scientific notation, the metric system, word problems, and applications. This course leads to the applied use of the mathematical methods taught during the course on electronic concepts.
